Head Over Head

January 29th, 2010 by Kyla Mollett Of The Retort Staff

Taking back whatever was said
Sheep think it’s better to feel alive than dead
Was it the diamonds that you wear on your fingers
Is it the fact that jealousy in a heart still lingers
Anyone can see that you have no meaning
There is no epiphany where angels are singing
You seem to have the similar tragedy
So galsome forgotten that it was a fallacy
Point your barrel at the people that demand it the most
The ones that want sympathy or a reason to boast
Have you forgotten what kind of animal you are
Surmise you are preeminent than gods own star

Running out of things to say
These were the things that you craved
All though you noticed they were all out of vain
You still gave up your mentality to be stained
