The RetortThe Voice of the Students of Montana State University Billings
February 19th, 2010 by Dylan Big Medicine For The Retort
Deep inside his castle of pain
The shrill of a beast broken in two
Laid on the ground are the petals of faith
Falling like tears that make up his days...
Clouds block the rays of sunshine
That try to bleed on his cloak of despair
Will he ever find true love
It's somewhere inside a dream
The only voice is a shade of black...
He stares back into shattered glass that relates
To find true loves kiss, something oh so bliss
Half is the one that looks in the mirror
If we can only find out what he fears
Only way inside is by candle light
To avoid the storm of dark years that have come
A beast is nothing without his beauty
