The familiar scent of sweet coffees and gourmet desserts wafted through Off the Leaf on February 5 but the friendly, laid-back atmosphere was only further fueled by the spirited music of Beau Bristow. The soulful sound was a mixture of rock with hints of country, pop, and soul strewn together to make the perfect musical sundae. The light stringing of the guitar mixed with his smooth voice and relatable, yet meaningful lyrics made some throw back their heads leisurely. It was easy for anyone to find refuge in this captivating, yet mellow music.
