Have Some Self-Respect When Dressing for Halloween

As said in the movie “Mean Girls,” many women believe that “Halloween is the one night a year when girls can dress like a total slut.”

I am sorry, but dressing up like a cheap tramp at any time of the year is never, or ever should be, considered acceptable. First of all, Halloween is supposed to be a holiday for the kids, not adults. Second, these “sexy” costumes are nothing but ugly, sexist, degrading pieces of cloth that should only be worn by prostitutes and strippers.

Girls these days need to realize that in order to be treated with respect they need to first gain some self-respect. Going out at night wearing almost nothing only proves that a person has no self-respect at all. Whenever I see a girl wearing this “sexy” junk all I think is, okay, this girl is looking for a one night stand and most likely has gonorrhea and whatnot. In other words, dressing up like this is NOT cute or pretty.

A woman should know that dressing like that is just convincing men to believe that women are only good for two things: the eye and sex. So stop making me look bad, sluts. Instead of going out to get drunk in a costume that could pretty much be your bra and panties, why not just wear a costume that is less revealing?

I wonder, out of ALL costumes, why did these girls choose to wear the most revealing one? I mean, they must really want a lot of attention if they are paying $50 for something that will get them to look like a prostitute.

My point is, a woman should never degrade herself for a man. Not even on Halloween. Women can say that wearing a sexy costume is not about impressing men all they want, but blah, blah, thinking about “sexy” DOES consists of thinking about what the opposite sex will think. That is, unless you are homosexual.

Instead of using your body as a tool to attract men, try using your brain. If a guy is attracted to you because of how “hot” you look, then you should not even consider that pervert to be worth it.

Next time you dress up for Halloween and think about purchasing a “sexy maid” or “naughty nurse” costume, please think again, like a real woman. Remember to show some self-respect and also remember that pretty is for ladies, and sexy is for . . . well, the vulgar.
