Unrequired Reading for the....November 4th, 2011 by Leah Campbell Of The Retort Staff With endless amounts of pages and a price-tag verging on a car down-payment, it’s any wonder students look at their college textbooks with malicious eyes. Of course, textbooks are helpful, but not all of them are on the top of your summer reading list. Despite what your professors may have you believe, there are countless books in any given major that both inform and entertain the reader. So, save your next textbook from another drool stain and consider reading one of the three recommended books for two areas of study that fall outside the realms of textbook monotony.
