Confused about how things are going to turn up.
So ready to die but anxious to miss out.
What happens behind these eyes of mine and yours?
What happens at night when the blinds are closed?
What happens in death in our eternal slumber?
Will I cry or rejoice?
Do you ever wonder about the world around
Do you ever hear the sounds of the dead?
I don't. Because they are gone, far away.
Probably to a way better place.
But do you hear the sounds anyway?
Do you worry at night about the things hidden from light?
Are your demons getting the best of you?
Don't worry just push them aside
Don't let your demons and anxieties hide in your dark corners,
shed some light on your frights and your troubles.
No matter if you think the glass is half empty or full
either way you look at it their is only part of the glass that has something in it.
What if you think that the glass is spilling over.
That the contents inside you cannot be contained.
That their is a Being that is in all of us
that no one can comprehend and no one can grasp
That this being is welling in our hearts and our souls,
and if we let it spill over and out threw our walls
that we will still have the troubles and still have the strife,
but we won't be tempted to turn to the knife
or to worry about our lives,
instead we will smile and turn on our minds
we will allow ourselves to be free and not locked within our hollow fears
I will allow life to take its course and feel no remorse
I'll do all things that are good and bad and I'll learn the whole time
All the while I'll rhyme
